About us

Here at Refugees EmpowHERed, we see the value in every woman who crosses our borders. We want to support them in their journeys and empower them with the means necessary to move forward during this incredibly difficult transition. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2014, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit upon: healing, empowerment, and restoration of displaced women. Learn more about our mission, our vision, and how we go about making the changes in our community and beyond.

Mission Statement

Refugees EmpowHERed (RE) is a Raleigh-founded organization that exists to transition refugee women into life in America. We provide healing through therapy, extended language training, and continual support in order to equip these women to live sustainably.

Words from our founders

I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. It's easy.

This is the story about our start and where we would love to go from here. As the co-founders of this organization, we have gone through great lengths to accommodate our friends from all over the world. This organization holds a special place in our hearts and will hopefully grow to help women all over the country.
